Email marketing at Christmas time

We have chosen a collection of email marketing activities connected to Christmas communication: take a look and enjoy the different projects related to this special occasion.
Swarovski developed a Christmas mobile application, whose launch was at the beginning of November; we can notice interesting aspect in this newsletter: the personalization of template in the same colours and mood of the background of the smartphone screen and the presence of the QRcode to start playing and win.
Kate spade New York chose to create a gift guide; it follows the newsletter introducing the best winter getaway essentials. To create a specific selection of products, in order to help the users to focus on gifts, is an interesting approach to be used during the holidays.
Cartier invites the subscribers to be part of the Winter Tale: the newsletter is the beginning of a digital experience developed on the website, where the user is involved to connect with an interactive video which is aimed to discover all the products in the storytelling of a panther running in the snow.
During the last month three newsletters have been sent about Winter Tale: they are similar in the layout and in the content, and the subject vary only for the gender and some adjectives:

Let’s talk about delivery: how are companies communicating to their subscribers about the opportunity (or the difficulties) about assuring a proper delivery of products in such a messy period? We find a nice example by Dolphin Music, whose newsletter talks directly to Santa:
We have already seen an example of strategy by Jack Daniel’s in a previous post; for Christmas they have invented the Barrell Tree and the invite is to share the spirit, with the purpose to viralize a video:
A video email by PETA, the organization in support to ethical treatment of animals, wishes a Meowy Catmas! to sensitize about the theme in defence of animals
